A Twitter Christmas...

I am addicted to decorating...heck, I'm addicted to a lot of things :) But, I really do enjoy decorating, rearranging, watching HGTV, and looking through interior design magazines. I'm so addicted to decorating that I even changed my twitter background to a Christmas theme. Here is the background that I used...

I created it on Scrapblog and I think it turned out so cute.

It actually looks even BETTER on my twitter account because I used the tile feature and the poinsettia is mirrored on both sides. Check it out HERE.

Am I the only one that has a Christmas theme on my Twitter account???

Baby It's Cold Outside...

The weather in Florida has FINALLY cooled off and it is starting to feel like Christmas!! I think the low was in the 40's these past few days. Not to mention that I put up some of our Christmas decorations. Check out our mantel this year...I'm really proud of how it turned out.

I am planning on adding a few holly berries to the garland, but so far, I am really liking how it looks. Next on the agenda...lighting the fireplace and enjoying the Christmas-like weather.

If you haven't entered my latest giveaway, go HERE, there are LOTS of cute Christmas items and I will have FIVE different winners!

Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving 2009...

We had a great Thanksgiving dinner tonight. I don't think I will eat a SINGLE thing for the rest of the weekend...I am so full, but I loved every minute of it :)
Here are just a few of the pics I took tonight...

My brother-in-love frying a turkey!!

Jimmy cutting up the turkey...we missed you Dad, so Jimmy did the honors.

Uncle Tim cutting the ham.

Check out that spread!! We had three turkeys, a ham, greenbean casserole, broccoli and cheese casserole, squash dressing, stuffing, mac-n-cheese, and SO MUCH MORE!!

Me, Kim, my mother-in-love, and Sue.

And last but not least, the lady that started it all, Grammy!

What a great Thanksgiving with a great family!

FRIENDSgiving...

This weekend we celebrated the fourth annual FRIENDSgiving. This is a time where all our friends get together for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner before we all go our separate ways for the holidays. Our friends Blaise and Julie hosted the dinner and we had a great time! I didn't get a lot of pictures of the guys, but the girls had fun smiling for the camera :)

Blaise and Julie wanted to have a "tacky sweater" theme again this year and it looked as if everyone chose a Christmas themed sweater.
We had such a good time with all our friends and now we are looking forward to a great Thanksgiving with our family :)
