Two Week Review...

I guess I lied when I said I was going to do better at blogging. My life has just been so busy lately :(

SOOOOO, I thought I would do a two week review of what I've been up to. So here goes!!!!

I babysat this little cutie a few weeks ago. I work with her mom and they were going out to play trivia. After they left, I gave this sweetie a bath and tried to feed her, but she just couldn't keep her eyes open!!

We celebrated Easter at our cousin's house and by looking at this pic, you can tell that Mikey (my nephew) was showing me his Easter candy :)

Uncle D was showing Mikey how to blow the bubbles he got in his Easter basket...

And the two littlest ones in our family, Mikey and Laila, enjoyed a ride on the float...

I dressed Kodi up for the holiday too...isn't he precious???

I've also been furiously working on our Adoption Life Book...I had NO idea how hard it would be. Think about it...you have ONE book with about 20 pages to show your entire life and why you would make great parents...TOUGH!!! I included these two pics of us when we were kids and thought they were cute...

David is the one on the right...

This was my kindergarten picture...check out those pigtails!

We took a boat out last Monday and had a FABULOUS time...we had dinner, went out into the rough ocean, and just enjoyed the beautiful Florida weather...

And last night we went to the Shrimp Festival and HAD to get our pic taken with this pirate...

Tonight I'm going to the LAST Grad Night with our graduating seniors. Disney World gives discounted tickets to graduating seniors and practically closes down the park for school groups to bring their seniors. The event is from 7:00 p.m. to around 5:00 a.m. so pray that I'll be able to stay up all night...YIKES!!!

Have a great weekend!

Prayers Needed Tonight!!

I just received an update about my friend, Tiffany. If you've been reading my blog, you know that she has had a terrible bout with cancer but against all odds is almost completely healed. I posted HERE about the last time I saw Tiffany and how in awe I was at how FABULOUS she looked. After taking one of the most debilitating chemo treatments, her body had almost healed and she was radiating with thanks for the God that continued to let her live.

Tiffany's doctors recommended she have one more chemo treatment and she was looking forward to spending Mother's Day with her own mother in South Dakota. Unfortunately, last night, Tiffany had a siezure. Her husband woke up to find her on the floor and tried to help her recover from the siezure. He called 911 and Tiffany was soon transported to the hospital. Her doctor's performed tests and discovered that she had swelling in her brain...which caused the siezure.

She will be having neurosurgery tomorrow, Thursday, to relieve the swelling.

Tiffany has come SO far and is devastated to have another brain surgery within 16 short months. Her trip to visit her mom is postponed, as she will be in the hospital recovering from the surgery.

Tiffany is such a strong woman, both spiritually and physically. Please continue to pray for her, the doctors that are performing her surgery, and for her family.

M.I.A.

I feel as if I have been M.I.A. from the blog world :( I've had SOOO many things going on in my life, that I've found it hard to blog as much as I used to. After working at my school all day, trying to work on my Mary Kay business, and filling orders for our Doggie Boutique, I am just plain exhausted when I get home.

The weather in Jacksonville has been GORGEOUS lately...

Next 8 Days

So David and I have been spending quite a bit of time outside working on the yard and getting our pool ready for the summer.

We have also moved forward with our journey to become parents...so if you haven't gotten caught up on our other blog, I hope you'll stop by and say a prayer for us.

I am going to try my best to keep this blog updated on the daily happenings of The Knights, but until my next post, I hope each of you have a blessed Easter weekend!

Mom and Dad...

I came across some pics that I had saved of my mom and dad and just HAD to share!!

Aren't they just the cutest couple????

A Friend Update...

I wanted to share a quick update about my friend/co-worker, Tiffany. If you didn't get to hear about her story, you can follow THIS LINK to catch up on her diganosis and treatments.

I have to say that God is pretty miraculous...I knew this already :) but seeing Tiffany this past week really did make me smile. For a lack of better words, Tiffany looked absolutely GORGEOUS!! She was just radiating happiness and looked like a million bucks. She stopped by the school to check in and I honestly couldn't believe my eys when I saw her walk in.

She has lost about 50 pounds, her hair was a longer and styled so cute, and her coloring just screamed GLOWING!!! Her cancer is almost gone...the only place the doctors say she has cancer is still in her neck area. BUT, after the last IL-2 treatment, it went down from 5 cm to 2 cm. So she has one more IL-2 treatment planned for April 18th.

Hopefully, after this last treatment and a lot of prayer, Tiffany's body will be completely healed from the cancer.

Isn't this the best news????

The BEST Deal EVER!!!

I posted a few days ago HERE about my Mary Kay business and how YOU can get started and be a part of my team. I generated a lot of questions about how to get started and that selling Mary Kay seemed TOO GOOD to be true. I wanted to answer a few questions in this post to help clarify any confusion AND to make you understand that it really is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!

First, Mary Kay is offering an AWESOME special this month...you can be an Independent Beauty Consultant for ONLY $50!!! Yes, you read that right. I paid $100 to join a few years ago but during the entire month of April you can reap all those same benefits for ONLY $50!!! If anything else, think about it this way...you will receive ALL OF THESE ITEMS for ONLY $50!!!

The only thing that requires some work on your part is selling the products...which really isn't work at all. You must sell a minimum of $200 wholesale each quarter to remain an active Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. When you are active (selling at least $200 wholesale within the quarter) you recieve 50% of the retail cost EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU SELL! Last month I earned $450 from selling Mary Kay. AND, like I said in my previous post, all I do is email customers, post info on Twitter and Facebook. I never pick up the phone and call people or set up appointments or facials...I just don't have time. BUT, if you have the time and are able to do those things on top of emailing your friends and family, can you imagine what profit you could make each month?

If you are interested in joining my team, please contact me at Liannap@aol.com and I can walk you through your registration. It will take about 20 minutes and soon you will receive your starter kit and you can start making some extra money!!! I can't wait to hear from you :)
