I realized after looking at this picture that I'm going to throw away all these wire hangers and start stocking up on plastic hangers. The wrought iron piece is used to hang our keys, Kodi's leashes, and anything else that can be hung there. During the summer months you'll find an assortment of the DH's caps hanging there. You will also notice that the sink is FULL of dirty towels.
This is the other side of our laundry room. Notice all the towels on the shelf...we use these towels mainly for miscellaneous things, like washing the cars, picking up spills, wiping off feet, etc. Unfortunately, this shelf ends up being a place where we throw our towels instead of folding them up nice and neat.
This is the opposite wall in the laundry room. Nothing special. Actually, our laundry room is pretty drab, isn't it?
I'd LOVE to paint this room a light green shade to match the sign...maybe that will be a project this summer. For now, I just wanted to get a little organized.
I had these baskets in storage and decided to use them to keep our towels nice and neat on the shelf. You'll notice that I got rid of a lot of those wire coat hangers, but until I get some plastic ones, I can't throw them ALL away.
I also hung this card holder on the opposite wall.
I'm not sure what I'll hang on it yet, but for now, I put some of my Easter Carrots on it :)
Next on the agenda was the catch all drawer in the kitchen. Doesn't EVERYONE have one?? This poor drawer literally gets EVERYTHING thrown into it and it got so out of control that I was embarrassed to show you the before picture. So here is the after...

Next on the agenda was my HAIR!!! I seriously have seen so many grey hairs that it isn't even the slightest bit funny. And NO I didn't take a before picture of my hair either... I do have SOME modesty!! But I picked up a box of this...
And got to work!!! My hair turned out great and I really like the color. Here is an after pic...
And NO MORE GREY :) Well, except on my shirt and from my necklace..don't you just LOVE my Alora Handmade necklace??? So so cute, I just L.O.V.E it :)I then took off to my mother-in-love's house for a small Mary Kay party and I took a few orders. We then headed to PF Changs for some yummy chinese food....Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice for me...man, did it hit the spot!!!
After I got home, I made an appearance at a birthday party across the street and now at 11:00 p.m. I am wrapping up this post and heading to bed.

Let me repeat that...I let someone else do the hard work of creating these delicate flowers and got 15 of them for only $3!! Now that's a deal!!
I arranged a few of the fabric flowers and hot glued them onto a piece of leftover black fabric. I took a necklace and threaded it through the fold in the fabric.
Now doesn't this look like a necklace you would pay $20 or more for???
I wore it this week to work and got SO many compliments on it :)
Now I'm looking for ideas on what I can do with the remaining 8 flowers...any suggestions?
I LOVE guessing games and was a little disappointed that NO ONE could guess what this originally was before it became a part of our yard decorations. So I thought it might help if I isolated the object. So check out this pic...

I pulled out this white bowl that was included in a fondue set and thought it would be perfect as the base for my topiary.
I shaped one of the foam squares into a ball, put hot glue on the foam, and then covered it with the moss.
I used a stick from our yard...I trimmed it up and stuck it into the foam ball and into the foam base.
I added some of the moss to the base and tied on a pretty white bow.
I picked up these little flower stakes from the Dollar Tree and think they look festive with these real flowers.
I bought these little flowers from Pier 1 about three years ago. They are really meant to hold tea light candles, but I added a little dirt and some flowers and I think they make the perfect plant holders.
I made this bird (squirrel) feeder last year. The base is a pedestal that my mom gave me and the top is a star tray that I purchased from Pier 1 years ago. I just screwed the tray on top of the pedestal and added birdseed :)
And yes...for only $1!!!
And I printed out our initials on some cardstock...
Put them inside the frames and hung them on the wall...
So easy and SO cheap...I literally only spent $2 on this project!!!
