It has been SO long since I have particated in one of
Kelly's Show Us Your Life posts, but I just couldn't resist the
Christmas Decor SUYL.
So here is a little bit of our Christmas decor, some decorations you have already seen in previous posts and some will be new. Beware...I have a TON of pics on this post!
These are our new stockings that we got from Willow House...I just adore the bright green on them :)
This is our mantel for this year...The Wonder of Christmas (I just love the thought of this phrase).
One of many Pinterest projects I've attempted this year.
HERE is the link if you want to see how I made it.
An adorable door hanger that I received from my friend
Allie.
This little Joy sign is hanging in one of our guest bedrooms...
This is our Christmas tree this year. Because we are traveling to Texas for the majority of our holiday, we decided to not put up a big tree.
Here is a close up pic of the ornaments on our tree. I had one made for David, Kodi, and I. The blog where I purchased them from is
HERE.
I placed this large punch bowl filledwith brown and gold Christmas ornaments in the sitting area in the master bedroom...
One of my poinsettia blooms broke off of our big white poinsettia, so I put it in this little vase on my night stand. I found a website on Pinterest that said if you burn the bottom of a fresh cut of a poinsettia, it will last forever. I think I've had this stem on my night stand for about 2 weeks now and it looks GREAT. So slightly burning the bottom of the stem to dry up the sap really does work :)
This Santa was given to me YEARS ago!! He sits on a shelf with another little tree in our dining room.
Our dining room...
A few decorations in our kitchen...
I tucked this little reindeer in David's office...
Our little back patio area...
LOVE this Santa next to the old wooden crate...
I added a few holiday items to our backyard---they are hard to see, but I have a large ornament hanging from a shepherd's hook behind the table and a little present stake in the plant on the small table.
I feel as if I have poinsettias EVERYWHERE this year. Several people I know had poinsettia fundraisers, so I just couldn't resit :)
My mom gave me a ton of these plant stakes...I probably have enough to put a different one in each of our potted plants.
I posted a pic earlier of our entry table, but I had mentioned that I wasn't married to it yet. Well, I think this table runner did the trick...I LOVE that it matches our stockings and is the perfect addition to our entryway.
I got this little surprise for my mom for Christmas. It's okay that I'm posting it on my blog because I couldn't wait to tell her that I got it for her...
It's Frosty's hat!!! Isn't it adorable?!?!?!?
And here is my Santa centerpiece hat on our kitchen dinette table. This hat came from the same place that Frosty's hat came from.
So that is a quick look around our house this year for Christmas. I can't wait to see everyone else's Christmas decor!!!
