Trash to Treasure...

When the girls and I were taking our bike ride down at the beach, we passed a house with their trash out by the curb. I couldn't help but take a look at what they had sitting out to be thrown away. I saw two things that I just COULDN'T live without, so I noted the street address and planned to come back for the items after our bike ride.

To my satisfaction, both items were still sitting their, curbside, and waiting for me to take them home.

One of the items was this cutie...

It is in PERFECT condition and I actually felt a little guilty wondering if it in fact WAS to be thrown out for the garbage men to pick up.

I knew exactly what I had in mind for this pretty little bucket and when we got home, I got straight to work.

I guess it's true, one person's trash is another person's treasure!

Great rescue indeed!
I once found a brand new child's wicker rocker on our way to the beach. Cushion and all! Strange the things people just discard!
